WAITING IN THE SHADOWS ~ NEW TITLE NEWS

NEW TITLE NEWS

WAITING in the SHADOWS
KATHERINE HAYNES

Katherine Haynes has been contributing supernatural stories to magazines and anthologies for more than twenty years. Her first paperback collection, of wholly original fiction, Daydreams and Nightmares (Phantasm Press, 2014), won the Dracula Society’s ‘Children of the Night’ award.
In Waiting in the Shadows Sarob Press is pleased to present a more retrospective collection ... there are, of course, three new* stories but, also, seven of the finest of her previously published tales. Ghosts and other terrors loom darkly and the stories range from Jamesian chills to more modern spookiness. Here are ten stories to delight the connoisseur of the supernatural ... so, settle down and enjoy with a glass of something special (dark, stormy weather and roaring fire optional).
Stories: “The Chapel in the Woods” “Chalk*” “The Second Crown” “Something in the Fog” “The Folded Hands” “The Changing Room” “A Fold in the Curtain*” “Magicians and Moonlight” “The Mirror of the House*” & “Picnic at Bluebell Wood”

THE WHITE ROAD ~ REVIEWS

THE WHITE ROAD has been reviewed at David Longhorn’s excellent Supernatural Tales blog ... visit http://suptales.blogspot.fr/2017/12/the-white-road-review.html  to check out what he has to say about this one.
Des Lewis has also reviewed the book at https://dflewisreviews.wordpress.com/2017/12/16/the-white-road-ron-weighell/
Sarob Press friend Boyd White has asked me to mention the following which may be of some interest:
In the recently published 20th anniversary edition of “The White Road”, Ron Weighell mentions the limited fine press edition of “The Four Strengths of Shadow” that was published by Chad Oness’ Sutton Hoo Press under the Alpenhouse Apparitions imprint.   Although sheets for 100 copies were printed, only 50 copies were actually bound, 22 of which were available for sale. Genre specialist John Knott acquired a number of copies, and Ron signed each copy. Copies of this book are currently available directly from John Knott at his website. For further details visit www.jwkbooks.com/pages/books/20244/ron-weighell/the-four-strengths-of-shadow
I’m aiming to announce our next title in the next week or so.
Cheers, Robert.
